Over the past weekend Haskell traveled to Emporia Golf Course to participate in a dual with Bethel College. With a total team score of  356 +72, Haskell just missed the mark to beat out Bethel College who finished with 335 +51. But all was not lost for the Fightin' Indians as Junior leader, Mitchel Baker, finished with an overall score of 75 +4 and was named the first place athlete for the dual! Baker beat out Bethel's Caleb Koontz by 4 strokes who had an overall score of 79 +8. Mitchell was followed by Freshman, Ruben Couture with an overall score of 88 +17 for a tied fifth placement with Bethel's, Kyle Belvin. 

Haskell Golf will return to the course on October 17th & 18th for a tournament at the Freemont Hills Country Club in Springfield, MO.
