LAWRENCE, Kan. — Haskell Volleyball battled through a busy Wednesday at home, facing Kansas Wesleyan University and Missouri Valley College in a tri-match at Coffin Sports Complex.

Haskell vs. Kansas Wesleyan

Haskell opened the day against Kansas Wesleyan, falling 3-0 by scores of 25-23, 25-16 and 25-22.

The Indians were led offensively by Tressa Jim, who recorded eight kills, while Mya Dalgai added six kills and four total blocks. Hailey Kelsey contributed four kills and five total blocks, while Jayla Flient finished with three kills and three total blocks.
Jaspen Ellenwood paced the Haskell offense with 11 assists, while Katelynn Singer added nine assists. Defensively, Alaina Dugi recorded 20 digs, followed by eight digs each from Singer and Brianna Mitchell.

Haskell vs. Missouri Valley

Haskell returned to the court later Wednesday evening against Missouri Valley College, taking the third set 25-18 before Missouri Valley secured the match, 3-1 (20-25, 14-25, 25-18, 18-25).

Haskell's offense was led by Jayla Flient, Tressa Jim and Mya Dalgai, who each recorded eight kills. Flient also posted four total blocks, while Dalgai added five total blocks.
Jaspen Ellenwood finished with 16 assists and seven digs, while Darrilyn Tessay added nine assists. Defensively, Alaina Dugi led all Haskell players with 27 digs, with Brianna Mitchell and Mecca Goldsberry each recording nine.
Despite the two setbacks, Haskell showed resilience throughout the day, including a strong third-set performance against Missouri Valley to extend the match to four sets.

The Indians will look to build on Wednesday's competition as they continue the 2026 season.
