LAWRENCE, Kan. — Haskell Volleyball battled through two home matches this week, facing Bethel College on September 15 before taking on McPherson University on September 16.

Haskell vs. Bethel — September 15

Haskell fell to Bethel in three sets, 21-25, 10-25, 19-25.

Mya Dalgai led Haskell with eight kills and added three block assists. Jayla Flient recorded six kills on just nine attacks for a .556 hitting percentage, while Darrilyn Tessay finished with 11 assists. Jaspen Ellenwood added nine assists, and Hailey Kelsey recorded three total blocks.

As a team, Haskell finished with 25 kills, 21 assists, six total blocks and 23 digs.

Haskell vs. McPherson — September 16

Haskell battled McPherson in another three-set match, falling 7-25, 17-25, 10-25.

Tressa Jim led Haskell with four kills. Mya Dalgai added three kills and two total blocks, while Jayla Flient recorded two kills and four block assists. Alaina Dugi paced the defensive effort with six digs. Jaspen Ellenwood finished with five assists, and Katelynn Singer added three assists.

Haskell totaled 15 kills, 14 assists, six total blocks and 20 digs in the match.

The two matches move Haskell to 4-13 overall on the season.

Next Up

Haskell will hit the road on September 19 for its next match before returning home on September 23.
