Haskell volleyball showed grit and determination during a challenging weekend slate in Arizona, going head-to-head with Simpson (CA), Ottawa (AZ), and Embry-Riddle (AZ).

Friday Afternoon vs. Simpson (CA)
Against Simpson, Haskell battled hard, pushing the Red Hawks in a tightly contested third set (23-25). Haskell posted a strong team hitting percentage of .214 with 34 kills on the match, led by standout performances from Tressa Jim (13 kills) and Kayelani Maiava (10 kills). Libero Alaina Dugi anchored the defense with 25 digs, while the team tallied 6 total blocks.
Friday Evening vs. Ottawa (AZ)
Later that evening, Haskell faced a talented Ottawa (AZ) team, where Mya Dalgai shined at the net, hitting .308 with a solo block and block assist. The squad's tenacity on defense was evident with 39 digs as they fought through every point.
Saturday vs. Embry-Riddle (AZ)
On Saturday, the team closed the trip with a matchup against Embry-Riddle (AZ). Dalgai led the blocking charge again, recording 4 total blocks, and Haskell's defense racked up 42 digs to hold their ground against the Eagles' attack.
Despite facing tough competition, Haskell showcased growth, defensive hustle, and offensive sparks across the weekend. The young squad continues to develop chemistry and grit as they prepare for upcoming matches.
