Haskell Women's Basketball wrapped up a tough weekend in Tennessee with matchups against two nationally respected programs: Bethel (TN) on Friday and Campbellsville on Saturday.
Friday vs. Bethel (TN)
Final: Bethel (TN) 92, Haskell 67
After a slow start, Haskell found its rhythm in the second half, putting up 47 points over the final two quarters. Ona Dauphinais led the offense with 16 points, including a scorching 4-for-4 fourth quarter from beyond the arc. Allie Greene added 17 points, going a perfect 8-for-8 at the free-throw line, while the bench contributed 37 points to help fuel the comeback push.
Despite the late surge, Bethel's early lead proved too much to overcome.
Saturday vs. Campbellsville (KY)
Final: Campbellsville 98, Haskell 62
Haskell bounced back with a stronger start on Saturday, but Campbellsville's inside presence and transition scoring created separation as the game progressed.
Ona Dauphinais again paced Haskell with 18 points and 7 rebounds, knocking down four triples for the second straight game. Trinity Wheeler added 7 points, and Tierzah Penn contributed another 7 while the team shot an improved 42.6% from the field.
