VANCOUVER, WA - The Women's 2023 Cross Country Season concluded at the 2023 NAIA Cross Country National Championships in Vancouver, WA with strong performances from 2023 Continental Athletic Conference Runner of the Year Browning, MT Native, Kiara Iron Heart, and 1st team All-Conference performer Tiajhae Nez from Kirtland, NM.

Kiara capped off the most dominant season in school history by placing 55th in a time of 23:04.4. for the best national championships finish by any Haskell runner in the 24 years of competing at the NAIA level. Second Year Head Coach, Gregory A Keeler, had this to say about Kiara's effort, "Over the last two-year Kiara has grown into one of the strongest runners is the country and I expect great things in the future." 

Not to be out done Tiajhae placed 165th with a time of 24:13.4 improving on her 2022 performance by 24 places. Head Coach, Greg Keeler said, "TJ has had a great season and sets the standard for the rest of the team to follow."

Both Kiara and Tiajhae will be back in action on the 2nd of December as Haskell competes in the 2023 Bob Timmons Indoor track and Field Challenge hosted by the University of Kansas.
