LAWRENCE, Kan. - The Fightin' Indians lost against Peru State College with a final score of 68-60 in a non-conference game on Wednesday, November 1 here at Coffin Sports Complex. With a rocky start to the first half of the game, Haskell was only down by two. The Indians came out ready to play in the second half but so did Peru State College who eventually extended the lead by eight to seal the fourth quarter. The Haskell Indians are now 1-2 on the season. 

Haskell Indians, Mahpiya Irving had 20 points, eight rebounds, six steals, and three assists. Marilyn Goodman added 14 points along with eight ebounds. Malia Jacobs added 11 points, eight ebounds, and three assists.
 
Peru State College Samantha Stewart led her team with 20 points and eight rebounds. Hailey Ingram had 16 points and six steals. 

Stats of the Game:
The Indians shot a field goal percentage of 36 percent, 24 percent from the arc, and 71 percent from the free throw line.
 
Peru State College had a 32 percentage from the field, 26 percent from the 3-point line, and 69 percent from the free throw line.
