4/13/2026 12:47:00 PM

HESSTON, Kan. — Haskell softball earned a dominant run-rule victory in game one before falling in the nightcap, splitting a conference doubleheader on the road at Hesston College.

Game 1 | Haskell 12, Hesston 1 (5 innings)
Haskell came out swinging, erupting for nine runs in the opening inning and never looking back in a 12-1 run-rule win.

The offense totaled 15 hits in the five-inning contest, with multiple players contributing to the early surge. Abrielle Herrera led the way with a 3-for-4 performance and two RBIs, while Grace Greenwood added a three-run home run. Ariana Munoz and Chasely Roberts each recorded multi-hit games as Haskell controlled the game from start to finish.

In the circle, Mariah Graves delivered a complete game, allowing just one run on four hits over five innings to secure the win.

Game 2 | Hesston 4, Haskell 0
In game two, Haskell struggled to find offensive rhythm, managing just three hits in a 4-0 loss.

Celia (Dia) Farrow pitched a complete game, but Hesston capitalized on key opportunities and defensive miscues by Haskell, who committed four errors in the contest.

Despite the loss, Farrow worked through six innings in the circle, while Abrianna Herrera, Celia Farrow, and Maeshayla Tye accounted for the team's three hits.
